nice one julia/mabel, looking good. i like miisty2.jpg the best, looks winsome, not too cutesy/anime, and still adorable in a quirky, kind of adult way.
p.s. if you're having difficulty recreating her look (as i've noticed from the sketches), take the one you like best and break her face down in layers within photoshop (e.g. mouth/face/eyes/lips) or illustrator/flash - so you can retain consistency in the artwork, and just tweak the mouth/eyes etc.
The watercolor effect is nice - makes the look v dreamy. I like it.
Looking good, gotta work fast - time is running out, but enjoy the holidays!
